Jeff Coopwood, born in Chicago, Illinois, spent his formative years in Miami, Florida, where he developed a passion for the performing arts. During his undergraduate tenure at the University of Miami, he honed his vocal skills by singing for four consecutive seasons with the esteemed Miami Opera.
Upon graduating, Coopwood embarked on a national tour, starring in the Broadway National production of "Timbuktu!" alongside the legendary Eartha Kitt. His stage presence was further showcased in numerous productions across the United States and Canada.
As a dedicated educator, Coopwood shared his expertise by teaching, coaching, and lecturing in speech and debate at prominent institutions, including Harvard, Northwestern, Georgetown, Marquette, and Emory Universities, as well as the Universities of Pennsylvania and Miami.
Coopwood's return to Chicago led to his hosting duties on the Emmy-nominated television game shows '$100,000 Fortune Hunt' and 'Know Your Heritage', both nationally syndicated programs.
Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Coopwood established himself as a master of accents, dialects, and vocal imitations, earning an Emmy nomination for his voice-over work. He is a proud member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and holds a Master of Arts in Humanities from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
