Jeanne Rejaunier's academic journey commenced at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she earned her undergraduate degree, followed by postgraduate studies at the prestigious Sorbonne in Paris, the Universities of Florence and Pisa in Italy, the Goetheschule in Rome, UCLA in California, and the New School for Social Research in New York.
Before delving into her literary and cinematic pursuits, Rejaunier began a career as a professional model, leveraging her Vassar experience as a springboard to success. She subsequently transitioned to acting, gracing the stages of Manhattan, Hollywood, and Europe, appearing in numerous productions on and off Broadway, in films, television, and national commercials.
Rejaunier's literary debut, The Beauty Trap, achieved international acclaim, selling over one million copies and securing the fourth spot on Simon & Schuster's bestseller list. The film rights were promptly purchased by Hollywood studio Avco-Embassy. Her subsequent novels, including The Motion and the Act, Affair in Rome, Mob Sisters, and Odalisque at the Spa, solidified her reputation as a prolific and versatile author.
In addition to her novels, Rejaunier has penned numerous nonfiction titles, exploring topics such as astrology, food allergies, and migraines. Her spiritual books, The Planes of Heaven series, delve into the realms of afterlife, eternity, and the eightfold path.
