Jeanie is a multifaceted individual, occupying roles as an actor, director, teacher, author, and artistic director. Her expertise spans the realm of acting, creative process, and theater art and management, as she has extensively explored these subjects through her writings.
Throughout her illustrious career, Jeanie has graced the stages of Broadway, regional theaters, and Los Angeles theater, in addition to making appearances in television and film. Notably, she has held the position of artistic director for two dynamic Los Angeles theater companies, and has had the privilege of directing at esteemed institutions such as The Wallis Annenberg Center, L.A. Theatre Works, The Antaeus Company, and The Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Jeanie has also made significant contributions to the world of acting through her literary works. She is the author of two books, "The Actor's Chekhov" and "Toward Mastery," which draw heavily from the teachings and principles of the late director and teacher, Nikos Psacharopoulos.
Beyond her work in the entertainment industry, Jeanie is a dedicated acting teacher and private coach, and has also had the opportunity to share her expertise with students at the SAG-AFTRA Academy.
