Jazz Vila is a multifaceted artist, exceling as an actor, director, playwright, and producer, hailing from the vibrant city of Havana, Cuba.
In 2004, he graduated from the esteemed School of Performing Arts in Cuba, laying the foundation for his illustrious career.
Vila's most recent endeavors include the critically acclaimed film Hotel Coppelia, for which he received a nomination for "Best Lead Actor" at the Dominican Film Association Awards (ADOCINE),and the action-packed comedy The Mick and the Trick, alongside veteran actor Peter Greene.
His television credits include the popular Netflix series Paquita Salas and the Spanish series SKAM on Movistar Plus.
Vila's breakthrough role as La China in the film Juan de los Muertos, directed by Alejandro Brugués, garnered widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike, earning him a nomination for the Goya Awards (Spain) as "Best Beginner Actor" and the Shangay Magazine Award for "Best Movie Actor".
