Biography

Jason Toler is a multifaceted creative force, boasting a wide range of talents as a WGA writer, director, and SAG actor. Hailing from the Midwest, Toler earned his degree in Film and Business from Columbia University, laying the foundation for a successful career in the entertainment industry.

With a string of notable credits to his name, Toler got his start working on prominent films such as Save the Last Dance, Spider-man 2, and Barbershop. He made a lasting impression in the Sundance Film Festival movie "Pleasure," and was subsequently cast as the lead in "Body of Night" and the action-packed film "Kill Plan."

Under the guidance of the late John Singleton, Toler adapted his hit horror stage play "Halfmoon" into a feature film, which is currently available to stream on Itunes, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. His second feature film, "Crackhouse of the Dead," a horror film that screened at several film festivals, took home the prestigious "Best Midnight Screening" award at the Portland Film Festival.

As a comedy writer, Toler has honed his skills as a stand-up comedian and is set to release his first comedy album, "Highly Inappropriate," on Itunes, Amazon, and Spotify. In addition to his writing and acting endeavors, Toler is developing several TV and film projects, cementing his status as a versatile and prolific creative force.
