Jason Krawczyk's journey began with a struggle to grasp high-school physics, which ultimately led him to pursue a passion for filmmaking. With a strong foundation in his new craft, he started by directing numerous music videos, commercials, and short films.
Jason's breakthrough project was the feature-length film "The Briefcase", followed by the critically acclaimed horror-comedy "He Never Died" in 2015, which premiered at South By Southwest and is currently streaming on Netflix. The sequel, "She Never Died", was released on Amazon Prime in 2020.
In addition to his work in film, Jason has also ventured into writing, having penned several screenplays, novels, and novellas. His debut publication, "An Earth That Knows Magic", was released in 2022 by Black Hare Press.
Jason's upcoming projects include the novel "It Looks Like Dad", scheduled for release in 2023, and "Reality Squall" in 2024. His love for writing has also led him to co-own "Little Ghosts Books" with his spouse, Chris Krawczyk, an inclusive cafe and bookstore that specializes in horror books from renowned classics, LGBTQ authors, and emerging indie publishers.
Throughout his career, Jason's primary objectives have been to refine his writing, directing, and storytelling skills while collaborating with the talented individuals he has met along the way.
