Jason Contini's journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of three, when he took on the role of The Littlest Prince in a production of The King & I at The Westport Playhouse in St. Louis, Missouri. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in theatre, Jason's father, actor John Contini, likely played a significant influence on his decision to pursue a career in acting.
As he grew older, Jason began to focus on film, appearing in a number of low-budget horror films and dramas before landing the lead role of Julian, the vampire hunter, in Wyatt Weed's SHADOWLAND.
Throughout his early career, Jason was a proud member of SAG-Aftra and earned his Actor's Equity (AEA) card by doing three consecutive years of children's theatre with The Imaginary Theatre Company, the touring arm of The St. Louis Repertory Theatre. He also worked with numerous other theatre companies, including Avalon Theatre Company, Insight Theatre, Upstream Theatre, St. Louis Actor's Studio, Bluff City Theatre in Hannibal, MO, Dramatic License, Bankside Repertory Theatre, and Stages St. Louis.
In 2008, Jason made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where he shot the romantic comedy THE ANNIVERSARY and the war film KHYBER. Upon his return to St. Louis, Jason co-founded Archlight Studios with his longtime friend and co-writer, Nicholas J. Hearne. In 2014, they teamed up with Pirate Pictures to produce their first feature film, FOUR COLOR EULOGY.
In addition to his work as an actor, Jason made his directorial debut with the music video for Taylor Pietz's single COLOR ME, a song written for the film FOUR COLOR EULOGY.
