Jaroslav Papoušek, a renowned Czech film director and screenwriter, was born on April 12, 1929, and passed away on August 17, 1995. Prior to embarking on a career in filmmaking, Papoušek began his creative journey as a sculptor.
He then went on to collaborate with prominent film professionals, including Miloš Forman and Ivan Passer, as a screenwriter.
