Jaron's journey in the world of filmmaking began in his sophomore year of high school, in the small town of Bolivar, Tennessee, nestled 45 minutes east of the vibrant city of Memphis. Initially, the notion of a career in Hollywood seemed like a distant, unattainable dream, prompting Jaron to explore alternative paths before eventually returning to his true passion for storytelling.
Fast-forward to 2016, Jaron took the bold step of establishing his own production company, Misguided Perceptions Media Group, a testament to his unwavering dedication to his craft.
As a self-taught filmmaker, Jaron has developed his skills through independent production, often self-financing his projects. To date, he has successfully produced 11 feature films, including the critically acclaimed Betray, The Stix, Cubic Zirconia, The Reaper Man, and Down Bad: Life In The Hood.
Jaron's unique niche lies in his ability to tell human stories from a genuine, authentic perspective, drawing heavily from his own life experiences.
