Janis Valdez was born and raised in the vibrant city of Long Beach, California, where her love for the performing arts began at the tender age of six. She quickly discovered her passion for musical theater, starring in numerous productions such as Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Jane Eyre, and Beauty and the Beast. As she grew older, Janis's talent and dedication earned her the opportunity to originate the role of Dana in the debut of Camp Rock: The Musical, a milestone that marked the beginning of her remarkable journey.
As she entered her teenage years, Janis's sights were set on the big screen, and she enrolled in Barbizon, a renowned school for acting and modeling. Upon graduating, she attended the IMTA convention, where she made a lasting impression by winning first place in every acting and modeling category she participated in. This impressive feat opened doors to numerous auditions for TV, film, and commercials, and Janis seized the opportunity with both hands.
Her impressive resume boasts a string of successful projects, including co-starring roles on popular shows like Suburgatory and Faking It, as well as guest appearances on Crazy Ex Girlfriend and Criminal Minds.
