Jamyl Dobson, a talented and accomplished actor, has garnered widespread recognition for his exceptional performances. Notably, he received an Audelco Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance for his work in "One in Two" at The New Group. His versatility has led to numerous television and film appearances, including roles in "Bros" opposite Billy Eichner, "Gotham," "The Path," and "Wonder." The latter has earned over a dozen awards at esteemed film festivals such as LA Outfest, The Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, UrbanWorld, and Oxford Film Festival, among others.
Beyond his television and film credits, Dobson boasts an impressive theater background, with experience on Broadway, Off Broadway, regionally, and internationally. He made his Broadway debut in 2022 in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." Throughout his career, Dobson has collaborated with a diverse range of theater companies, including The New Group, New York Theatre Workshop, Lincoln Center, Studio Theatre, the Ma-Yi Theatre Co., The Culture Project, and Classical Theatre of Harlem, among many others. Additionally, he has toured internationally as a guest actor with the renowned Bill T.
