Biography

Notable milestones in the early career of this individual include his involvement with esteemed theatre companies such as The National Youth Theatre and Theatre of the Oppressed, as well as African Tiata Fahodzi and Cardboard Citizens, which provided a solid foundation for his artistic development.

His first foray into television was a BBC adaptation of the emotionally charged theatre production, The Foolish Young Man, in 2007, starring the accomplished David Harewood, whose notable film credits include Blood Diamond (2006) and The Merchant of Venice (2004).

It was during his portrayal of the domestically abusive lead in The Boys (2008) at the National Theatre that he gained significant attention. This performance subsequently led to his audition and subsequent breakthrough role as the sadistic nemesis 'Carl' opposite the iconic Michael Caine in the Brit cult thriller, Harry Brown (2009),which also starred Emily Mortimer.
