James Pomichter relocated to Los Angeles in 1994 to pursue higher education at Occidental College, where he earned a degree in Theater with distinction in 1998, complemented by a minor in Film Production. Throughout his academic tenure, James demonstrated his versatility by directing numerous film and video projects, as well as acting in a few plays.
Early in his professional career, James gained experience in various aspects of film and theater production, assuming roles such as Set Carpenter, Lighting Technician, First Assistant Director, Editor, Sound Mixer, Prop Guy, Actor, and even Photo Double to the renowned actor Kurt Russell.
In recent years, James has established himself as a skilled actor, taking on a lead role in the Sci-Fi Channel's original film SS Doomtrooper, opposite esteemed actors Ben Cross and Corin Nemec. He has also appeared in a variety of television and film projects, including 13 Going on 30, Wicked Wicked Games alongside Tatum O'Neal, and a VISA Super Bowl commercial, where he portrayed Spiderman.
James attributes his well-roundedness as an Actor/Producer to the diverse range of experiences he has accumulated, allowing him to possess an awareness of techniques both in front of and behind the camera.
