James Physick was born in Oxford, United Kingdom, and soon after his birth, he relocated to South Wales, where he spent the majority of his adolescence and continues to consider it his naturalized "home" to this day.
As a passionate student of Drama throughout his school years, James became a member of the National Youth Theatre and took on his first major role with the renowned Old Vic Theatre, London, in a site-specific production of "On The Middle Day" - Somme Theatre in 2006, under the artistic direction of the esteemed Kevin Spacey.
James began his professional studies at the prestigious Central School of Speech & Drama, London, and later went on to further his education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC, in 2011. During his graduation, he was awarded the Charles Jehlinger Award and became a company member at the Academy for an additional year.
During his time at the Academy, James had the privilege of performing in several new works by award-winning playwright Douglas Carter Beane and attending masterclass workshops hosted by the accomplished actor Frank Langella.
Over the years, James has worked extensively across film, television, theatre, and commercial/voice-over productions in both the USA and UK. Notably, he played the role of a young Dr Carlisle in "Masque" (2015),directed by Cate Carson, which was included in Stephenie Meyer's selection, "The Storytellers - New Voices of the Twilight Saga."
In addition to his role as Lovelorn in the multi-award-winning film "Language is Dead" (2017),directed by Jermaine Manigault, James is set to appear in the upcoming film "Barrio Boy" (2019),directed by Dennis Shinners, in the role of Kevin.
