James Anthony, the son of Harry J. Davis and Mary M. Davis, had the privilege of growing up in the charming city of Alton, Illinois. He received his early education at St. Matthew School, where he laid the foundation for his future academic endeavors. James's academic journey continued at Marquette High School, where he earned his high school diploma in 1965.
