Jake Kennedy's life story began in London, where he was born and raised, and his journey in the world of writing and filmmaking commenced. Prior to venturing into the realm of creative pursuits, he gained valuable experience in the advertising industry, working as a marketing and sales executive for esteemed organizations such as Capital Radio, Associated Newspapers in London, and BMCMedia in Sydney.
The spark that ignited his passion for film was ignited when he had the opportunity to work as a set assistant on John Woo's Mission Impossible 2 in Sydney, Australia. This experience instilled in him lofty ambitions and a sense of purpose.
Jake's next step was to enroll in film school, after which he relocated to Los Angeles, equipped himself with a camera and a Mac computer, and began to write and direct a multitude of short films and feature films. His impressive body of work has been sold to over fifty countries worldwide.
In addition to his work as a writer and director, Jake has also accumulated numerous credits as a producer, executive producer, and story contributor on major feature films.
Jake's most recent short film and two feature films as writer/director have garnered him a total of fifteen international awards, leaving audiences worldwide both shaken and stirred.
Today, Jake resides in Los Angeles with his wife and three children, where he continues to pursue his passion for storytelling and filmmaking.
