Jacqueline (Jac) Gares is a renowned filmmaker based in New York, with a notable debut in the documentary feature film scene through her first film, FREE CeCe!.
Prior to her venture into documentary filmmaking, Jac spent five years as a producer and supervising producer of IN THE LIFE, a public television program that garnered numerous awards and accolades, including honors from the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA),the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD),and the Webby Awards.
