Jacob's formative years were spent in Vars, Canada, a small town that would later evolve into a rural community in the eastern sector of Ottawa, Canada. During his elementary school days, he attended St-Guillaume French elementary school, where the foundations of his academic and personal growth were laid. At the tender age of 11, Jacob embarked on a new chapter in his life, relocating to Winnipeg, Canada, with his parents and two siblings. This significant move marked the beginning of his high school experience at Collège Churchill Junior & Senior High School.
As a multi-talented individual, Jacob excelled in two sports, football and hockey, while also being an active member of the school's jazz band and vocal jazz choir. His academic prowess was recognized when he received the school's individual award for outstanding achievement in academics and a secondary field. This remarkable feat served as a testament to his dedication and hard work.
Following his graduation, Jacob pursued his passion for hockey in Manitoba, while simultaneously studying Kinesiology at the University of Manitoba. His involvement in the Michael Dowse film "Goon" presented him with a unique opportunity to explore his acting talents, which ultimately led him to reorient his focus towards acting. Jacob then spent several years honing his craft under the guidance of Winnipeg actor and acting coach Darcy Fehr. As his skills and confidence grew, he made the decision to relocate to Toronto, Canada, where he currently resides.
