Jack Trout is a renowned American actor, whose latest endeavor is the upcoming Hollywood thriller, Peter Five Eight, set to release in 2024. In addition to his work in film, he is also starring in the highly anticipated 10-episode series, The Offer, on Paramount Plus, where he will portray a prison guard, premiering on April 28th, 2022.
Prior to his current projects, Trout appeared in the PBS documentary, The Sacramento River of Life, narrated by Peter Coyote, back in 2005. From 1996 to 2008, he was a regular fixture on various outdoor television programs, including ESPN Outdoors, Outdoor Life Network, Fly Fishing Video Magazine, A Taste for Adventure, and Charlie West Outdoors.
In 2010, Trout made a guest appearance on the Tom Stienstra Great Outdoors TV Show, presented by Barbary Coast Productions. Fast-forward to 2020, and he starred in a pair of commercials for Atlantic/Land Rover Defender - Go Outside with John Mayer and John Mayer Knows Computer Lingo.
Throughout his illustrious career, spanning over 25 years, Trout has been an active member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG/AFTRA) and has been involved with the Shasta Film Commission in Northern California. Upcoming projects include One Battle After Another, set to release in 2025, and The Lemurian Candidate, scheduled for 2026.
