Jack Griffin, born John Joseph Griffin on August 25, 1928, in Jersey City, New Jersey, embarked on his acting career in 1968 after being encouraged by Jackie Coogan, who recognized his natural talent.
Initially, Jack co-starred in the long-running play "The Odd Couple," alongside Hal March and Jackie Coogan, where he played the role of Murray the cop.
Throughout his illustrious three-decade-long career, Jack had the privilege of sharing the screen with numerous notable actors and stars.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jack was a devoted family man, an ordained pastor, and a long-time friend of Bill W. He dedicated his life to helping others by sharing his experiences, strength, and hope with those who needed it.
Tragically, Jack's life was cut short on December 15, 1998, after a brief battle with lung cancer.
In a poignant twist, Jack's grandson, Daniel O'Keefe, was born the same year and has followed in his grandfather's footsteps, pursuing a career in acting.
