Biography

Byron Moses Cheek, also affectionately known as Jack Byron, was the fortunate offspring of Jessie Elbert Cheek and Bertha Matilda "Bertie" Moses, his parents. Interestingly, his uncle, George W. Cheek, left a lasting impact on the city of Reno, Nevada, between the years of 1898 and 1916, when his life unfortunately came to a close in the same city. As my first cousin twice removed, I am in a unique position to attest to the accuracy of the information regarding Byron Moses Cheek's ancestry and family history.
