Biography

Jack Bank is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as an actor, writer, and filmmaker. Born in New York City, Jack's early life was marked by a passion for the arts, which was fueled by his love of music. He began playing various instruments at a young age and even started writing songs during his teenage years.

However, Jack's creative pursuits were put on hold after a near-fatal accident that left him with a long recovery period. It was during this time that a close friend encouraged him to revisit his passion for the arts, suggesting he try his hand at acting. Jack took this advice to heart and enrolled at the Michael Howard Studios in New York, where he continued to hone his craft.

For several years, Jack appeared in various stage productions in New York, showcasing his natural talent as a performer. He received rave reviews for his performances in plays such as "Sleeping Beauty... or Coma" and "The Working Week or Sunday Rest" at the New York City Fringe Festival.

Jack's breakthrough in television came when he landed the role of Guy in the award-winning ABC daytime drama "One Life to Live." He went on to appear in numerous films alongside notable actors such as Angela Sarafyan, Steven Bauer, Andre Royo, Carmen Electra, Sandra Bernhard, and Eric Roberts, among others.

As Jack continued to work in the film industry, he began to develop an interest in filmmaking. He wrote, directed, and acted in a trilogy of short-film comedies that premiered at film festivals. His first film, "All Bookies Wear Speedos," won several awards and featured a cameo appearance by legendary talk show and radio host Joe Franklin.

Building on his success as a filmmaker, Jack went on to star in and direct other films, including "Gangster's Crib" and "Interpersonal Exopolitics." He worked alongside actors such as Alan Ruck, Fred Melamed, and Jessica Morris, with whom he had previously collaborated on "One Life to Live."

In addition to his work in film and television, Jack has also ventured into the world of stand-up comedy. He studied with renowned comedy coach Stephen Rosenfield and has performed at comedy clubs such as Caroline's, Gotham Comedy Club, and Stand-Up New York.

Today, Jack resides in Los Angeles but still spends time in New York. He is set to appear in several upcoming film projects and is also developing two feature films, including the thriller "Yin Gateway" and the comedy "True Blue Balls."
