J. Teddy Garces, a true New Yorker at heart, was born and raised in the culturally rich and vibrant neighborhood of Washington Heights, situated in the northernmost part of Manhattan. As the third child of Ivelisse Fanith and Joseph Garces Sr., Teddy, as he is affectionately known by his friends and family, was instilled with a strong sense of community and a deep appreciation for the diverse cultural landscape of his hometown.
As his career began to take shape in New York, Teddy felt an insatiable urge to expand his horizons and explore new opportunities. In 2005, he made the bold decision to leave the city that never sleeps and relocate to the sun-kissed streets of Los Angeles, California. This bold move marked the beginning of a new chapter in Teddy's life, as he sought to build upon the foundations he had established in New York and forge a new path in the City of Angels.
