Ivan Lyubeznov, a renowned thespian, entered the world on May 2, 1909, in Astrakhan, a city situated in the Astrakhan uyezd of the Astrakhan Governorate, which was then part of the vast Russian Empire, but is now known as Astrakhan Oblast, a federal subject of Russia.

Throughout his illustrious career, Lyubeznov garnered recognition for his captivating performances in a plethora of films, including the 1944 cinematic masterpiece, "Six P.M.", the 1958 adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's classic novel, "The Idiot", and the 1979 production, "Letuchaya mysh".
