Isis Valverde, a 37-year-old Brazilian actress, was born in Aiuruoca, Minas Gerais, and has been active in the industry for over 20 years.
With a career spanning two decades, she gained recognition for her roles in popular Brazilian soap operas such as Sinhá Moça (2006),Caminho das Índias (2009),Avenida Brasil (2012),A Força do Querer (2017),and Amor de Mãe (2019).
Isis made her film debut in Faroeste Caboclo (2013) and is currently engaged to Marcus Buaiz. She has a son from a previous relationship.
With a massive following of over 50 million on her social media platforms, Isis has recently taken charge of managing her own career. She is involved in various upcoming projects, including the Disney+ series Maria e o Cangaço, where she will play Maria Bonita, Corrida dos Bichos, a feature film directed by Fernando Meirelles, and Alarum, alongside American actor and director Sylvester Stallone.
Isis began her career as a model at the age of 16, participating in advertising campaigns in Minas Gerais' capital. Her passion for the arts started as a teenager, when she participated in local theater productions. At 18, she moved to Rio de Janeiro to pursue studies in performing arts.

In 2023, she was nominated as Best Actress at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival.
Isis has also ventured into writing, publishing a book of poetry and preparing for her second release.
