Isabel is the youngest of seven children born to a Filipino father of Chinese descent and a Filipina mother of Spanish descent. She completed her secondary education at Cebu Eastern College and went on to earn a college degree in Information Technology from the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu.
Isabel's early career in show business began when she landed a role in a commercial for Max's of Manila restaurant. She made her acting debut on ABS-CBN in 2004, appearing in the series "It Might Be You" and a guest role in "Maalaala Mo Kaya" alongside John Prats and Baron Geisler. In 2005, she moved to GMA Network and gained widespread recognition for her role as Isabel in the series "Sugo," opposite Richard Gutierrez.
Isabel's success on "Sugo" led to her being cast in several other projects, including the GMA Films' summer offering "Moments of Love" in 2006. She became a regular fixture on GMA-TV shows and graced the covers of various magazines, billboards, and print ads.
In 2008, Isabel played the role of Rosita, a character originally portrayed by award-winning actress Lorna Tolentino, in the series "Sine Novela: Maging akin ka lamang." She then appeared in the series "Gagambino" opposite Dennis Trillo.
In 2009, Isabel played the antagonist role in the series "Kaya kong abutin ang langit," opposite Iza Calzado. She also played the role of Elaine in the Philippine version of the Korean series "Full House."
Isabel continued to appear in various projects, including the movie "Rosario" in 2010, which was an entry in the Metro Manila Film Festival. She returned to ABS-CBN in 2014, appearing in the special finale participation as Chef Bernadette Cruz in the series "Annaliza."
