Isaak James is a multifaceted creative force, exceling as a director, screenwriter, producer, and leading man. In addition to his directing duties, he has also taken on the role of editor for his three feature films to date. Furthermore, Isaak is a skilled graphic designer and director of photography, boasting an impressive array of commercial credits, including a notable spot for New Balance's latest phone app.
Isaak's initial foray into filmmaking saw him create two edgy, politically incorrect comedies, "Special Needs" and "Hungry Years". His latest project, "Turbine", marks a bold departure from his earlier work, as he ventures into the realm of erotic dark drama set against the stunning backdrop of the rural Midwest.
As a musician, Isaak has composed the scores for all three of his films, and when he's not behind the camera, he takes to the microphone as a lounge singer, paying homage to the romantic crooner tradition. Isaak has even had the privilege of performing at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem.
