Irina Pegova is a renowned Russian theater and film actress, proudly holding the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, bestowed upon her in 2012. Her illustrious career has been marked by numerous prestigious awards, including the Russian theater prize 'Golden Mask' in 2005 and 2008.
Irina's journey in the world of theater and film began in 1995, when she entered the department "Actor of Dramatic Theater and Cinema" of the Gorkiy Theater School, under the creative direction of Vasiliy Bogomazov. During her studies, she caught the attention of the esteemed director Pyotr Fomenko, who would later play a significant role in her career.
In 1997, Irina left the second year of her studies at the Gorkiy Theater School and moved to Moscow, where she enrolled in the GITIS on an actor-director's course led by Pyotr Fomenko. Upon completing her studies at GITIS in 2001, she was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow theater "Pyotr Fomenko Workshop".
Throughout her tenure with the "Pyotr Fomenko Workshop", Irina has had the opportunity to showcase her talents in a wide range of performances, including 'White Nights', 'Wolves and Sheep', 'One Absolutely Happy Village', 'War and Peace. Beginning of the novel', 'Mad of Chaillot', and many others.
