Irakli Kvirikadze, a Georgian film actor, was born on October 8th, 1992, in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he spent his formative years. Recently, he has garnered significant attention for his role as Nika in the critically acclaimed foreign feature film, 'HOSTAGES', which premiered at the 67th Berlin Film Festival and made its US premiere at the Telluride Film Festival.
Irakli received widespread recognition for his performance as the boyishly handsome protagonist in 'HOSTAGES', becoming the first ever Georgian actor to receive the prestigious European Shooting Star Award at the Berlin Film Festival. This coveted honor has previously been bestowed upon notable international actors such as Alicia Vikander and Daniel Craig.
Irakli made his feature film debut in 'TBILISI, I LOVE YOU' and is set to appear on the big screen in 'WHERE ARE YOU' opposite Anthony Hopkins, which is scheduled for release in 2021. Prior to his feature film debut, he studied at Georgia's esteemed Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University.
