Biography

Imogen Grace is a Canadian film and television writer who pursued a theatre education at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.

As a talented and accomplished writer, Imogen is a 2020 alumna of the renowned Canadian Film Centre's Bell Media Prime Time TV Program and a participant of the CFC/Netflix Marketplace Accelerator Program for her half-hour dramedy, Miracle, New York.

Imogen's impressive achievements also include being the 2019 recipient of the inaugural Denis McGrath Bursary Award, a joint initiative of the Writers Guild of Canada and the Canadian Film Centre.

Her feature screenplay, Audrey, 2.0, has garnered numerous accolades, including the best feature screenplay prize at the New Orleans Film Festival, the best feature screenplay in the Script Pipeline First Look Screenplay Competition (in the sci-fi/fantasy category),and the Fade Out award at the Oaxaca Film Festival Screenplay Competition.

In addition to her writing accomplishments, Imogen has a solid background in production, having worked on series such as Suits, The Umbrella Academy, Anne with an E, and Departure.

Furthermore, Imogen's personal writing has been published in prominent publications like the Globe and Mail, Maclean's, and The Mary Sue.
