Idris Debrand, a talented and award-winning English actor, hails from Islington, London. His impressive body of work has garnered recognition at various prestigious film festivals and awards ceremonies. One of his most notable roles was as Sid in the British feature film "Kat And The Band", for which he received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the Idyllwild Film Festival.
Debrand's acting debut short film "Life Sentence" earned him the Best Short Film Award at the East End Film Festival in 2013. Additionally, he was nominated for Best Actor at the BBC Audio Drama Awards for his outstanding performance in the Charles Dickens' adaptation of "Oli". Debrand's remarkable talent has also led him to be a named finalist in The ABC Discovers UK Digital Talent Competition twice, in 2017 and 2018. This highly competitive competition provides a platform for British-based actors to showcase their skills to top US agents and casting directors, as well as secure a one-year talent holding agreement with the ABC network.

During his secondary school years, Debrand was training at The Young Actors Theatre in Islington, and later, he continued his training at the Identity School Of Acting while studying at university.
