Ian's journey began in the San Fernando Valley, where he discovered his passion for acting at the tender age of nine through various school productions. Following a four-year stint in the Bay Area, Ian proudly graduated from San Francisco State University's Theatre Arts Department, with a focus on performance. With his newfound degree, Ian made the decision to return to his hometown of Los Angeles, where he would continue to pursue his dreams in the entertainment industry.
During his time in the Bay Area, Ian was actively involved in several theatre and independent film projects, honing his craft and building his resume. One of his most notable roles was the lead in the critically acclaimed production of "Edward Gant's Amazing Feats of Loneliness," which was produced by 99 Stock Productions. This production was a major highlight of Ian's career, as he and his team traveled to New York City in August 2012 to participate in the prestigious NYC Fringe Festival. The team's hard work and dedication paid off, as they were awarded the coveted prize for Best Overall Production.
