Ian is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of experiences and accomplishments. Formerly a skilled international amateur boxer and Mixed Martial Artist, he has transitioned into other pursuits, including hosting the popular MMA panel show MMA Uncaged TV: Pulling No Punches, which is distributed by Africa XP.
In addition to his work in the world of combat sports, Ian has also been involved in documentary filmmaking, which allowed him to showcase his fight career to a wider audience. Subsequently, he ventured into the world of acting and production, and in 2013, he began to explore these new creative outlets.
Ian's most recent venture has been working alongside talented writer and director Thierry Chavrimootoo and his brother Andy at Visage Cinema. As an executive producer, he played a key role in the production of the company's first feature film, Imperative, which was distributed globally by High Octane Pictures under the title The Punished.
Ian's latest feature film, Enter the Furnace, marks another milestone in his career as a producer and actor. In this gripping drama, he stars as Dermot O'Connor, the head of a Northern Crime Group, who recruits an ex-convict to help his team complete high-stakes heists. This second feature film, which Ian both produced and executive produced alongside the Visage Cinema Team, showcases his versatility and dedication to his craft.
