Ian Bok, born in 1972 in Haarlem, made his debut in the internationally acclaimed Dutch action thriller "Lek" in 1999. He later trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, where he honed his acting skills in a two-month Shakespeare course in 2001.
Following his training, Bok graduated from the drama Academy in Amsterdam in 2007, earning his degree from the Academy for Theatre, Music, and Dance (A.T.K.A.). Since then, he has worked extensively in theatre, musicals, film, and television series.
In addition to his work as an actor, Bok has also created his own shows, performing them in various countries including Holland, Belgium, Prague, and Edinburgh. His impressive range and versatility have allowed him to take on a wide variety of roles.
In 2020, Bok starred in the Netflix original series "Ares," marking another milestone in his career. And, as of September 2020, he will be seen as one of the lead characters in the popular Dutch television series "Klem."
