Hunter Sansone, a talented actor, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and began his acting career as a teenager. He started training at a local studio in the St. Louis area, honing his craft for a few years before making the move to Los Angeles to pursue his professional goals.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Sansone quickly landed lead roles in several independent feature films. This experience laid the groundwork for his future success, as he went on to secure a series regular role in the CW/DC Universe superhero series, Stargirl, in 2020.
After wrapping the first season of Stargirl, Sansone joined forces with Oscar-nominated producer Reginald Hudlin to take on the role of Daniel Morelli in the Disney+ original film, Safety, which tells the inspiring true story of Clemson football player Ray McElrathbey.
All three seasons of Stargirl are now available to stream on HBO Max. In addition to his acting work, Sansone recently made his writing, producing, and directorial debut with the short film, A Brother Story, in 2022.
Growing up, Sansone spent the majority of his childhood being raised on a 123-acre farm with hundreds of animals. This unique upbringing instilled in him a deep passion for animal welfare. He has since partnered with Stray Rescue of St. Louis to help further promote their mission and continues to actively use his platform to be a powerful voice against animal abuse.
