As an accomplished actor, Hugh Gillin is perhaps most notably recognized for his appearances in a trio of iconic films: the sci-fi adventure film "Back to the Future Part III", released in 1990; the psychological thriller "Psycho II", which premiered in 1983; and the campy horror comedy "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark", which debuted in 1988.

Hugh Gillin's personal life was marked by two significant romantic partnerships: his marriage to Janet R Mackey, and later, his union with Mary Constance Nettels.
