Henry Griffin is a multifaceted creative talent based in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he has established himself as a writer, director, and actor.
His debut as a writer-director, the half-hour short film Mutiny, premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in 1999 and went on to win numerous awards at various festivals, including South-by-Southwest, the Seattle International Film Festival, the Chicago International Film Festival, and The Message-to-Man Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia.
His subsequent film, Tortured by Joy, was exclusively distributed on DVD through The Believer Magazine and has been hailed as one of the greatest short films ever made by Louis Black, the founder of SXSW.
In addition to his work in film, Griffin has also written scripts for various studios, including Fox, and has served as a script doctor, rewriting several films alongside renowned director Gore Verbinski.
As a director, Griffin has helmed numerous films, documentaries, and music videos, showcasing his versatility and range.
