Henri Lubatti's professional journey began after graduating from the University of Washington, where he was actively involved in the theater community of Seattle. His first foray into television was a guest appearance on the popular show X-Files, which was filmed in Vancouver, Canada. He subsequently worked on other locally produced television shows and the film Prefontaine.
In 1999, Henri made the move to Los Angeles, where he quickly established himself as a talented actor in television, taking on recurring roles and guest starring appearances on shows such as 24, Felicity, ER, The Practice, and Dark Angel. His breakthrough role as a series regular came when he played Ilija on the critically acclaimed Showtime series Sleeper Cell.
Henri's acting repertoire is diverse, with a special talent for playing characters from various cultural backgrounds, including Russians, Frenchmen, Italians, and Eastern Europeans. His dramatic range is complemented by his comedic skills, which have been showcased in various television shows, the film Big Momma's House 3, and the acclaimed stage production of The Comic, alongside Larry Miller.
Throughout his career, Henri has continued to pursue work in television, film, and theater. He is an active member of the Antaeus Theater company, frequently collaborates with LA TheaterWorks, and has performed in plays at the Mark Taper Forum, The Globe Theater, and South Coast Rep.
Born in the Pacific Northwest, Henri is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing. As a dual citizen of the United States and France, he spends as much time as possible with his family and friends around the world.
