In 1949, Stanton tied the knot with former silent film star Kenneth Harlan, and the couple seemed to be living their dream. However, their marriage was short-lived, and in April 1952, they separated. The divorce was finalized on December 8, 1953, in Los Angeles, with grounds of cruelty.
Stanton's career continued to flourish, and in 1953, she was part of the opening act for the legendary Frank Sinatra at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life, as she continued to perform with the Ben Blue Orchestra. In October 1955, she was given the opportunity to perform her own nightclub act in Vegas.
In 1957, Stanton married Morton D. Pinsky, effectively bringing an end to her Hollywood career. As an actress, she is probably best known for her roles in The Big Combo (1955),The Red Skelton Hour (1951),and The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues (1955).
