Heinrich Mann, a renowned German novelist and the elder brother of Nobel-Prizewinner Thomas Mann, is best known in the English-speaking world for his novel "Professor Unrat", which was adapted into the successful 1930 movie "Der Blaue Engel" ("The Blue Angel").
