Harjaspal Baweja, alias Harry Baweja, is a multifaceted Indian film professional, hailing from Ludhiana, Punjab, India, and currently based in the vibrant city of Mumbai.
As a fledgling in the industry, Baweja began his career as a chief assistant director on the 1984 film Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki, and later went on to work as an assistant director on the films Dance Dance and Commando, alongside the legendary Mithunda.
Baweja's Home Production, a banner that he co-founded, would go on to produce the blockbuster film Dilwale in 1994, which was a major commercial success. He also directed the hit film Imtihaan, which further cemented his reputation as a talented filmmaker.
In his personal life, Baweja is married to Pammi Baweja, a renowned film producer, and they have a son named Harman Baweja, who made his acting debut with the 2008 film Love Story 2050.
Together, the Baweja family has established a production company, Baweja Studios, which has been instrumental in producing several films and projects over the years.
