Harish Kalyan is a prominent Indian actor, primarily recognized for his contributions to the Tamil film industry. He completed his schooling at Balalok Matriculation School in Chennai and later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication at Annamalai University in Chennai.
Harish began his acting journey with the film "Sindhu Samaveli" in 2010, where he played the challenging role of Anbu. His breakthrough came with "Poriyaalan" in 2014, where he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of a young civil engineer embroiled in a real estate scandal.
Following his success in "Poriyaalan," Harish starred in "Vil Ambu" in 2016, produced by Suseenthiran, where his performance garnered praise for its charm and clean-cut appeal. Harish's career continued to thrive with films like "Kasada Thapara" in 2021 and "Oh Manapenne" in 2021, the latter being a successful remake. In 2023, Harish starred as the lead in a film titled "Let's Get Married," which was produced by Dhoni Entertainments, a company owned by M.S. Dhoni. His recent film "Parking" in 2023, co-starring M.S. Bhaskar and Induja Ravichandran, earned widespread acclaim, with its screenplay even making it to the Oscar library.
