Hanns Manship's illustrious career spanned over two decades, encompassing a wide range of roles in the performing arts, film, television, and music. Majoring in communications and theater, Hanns embarked on a journey that would take him to the stages of New York City, Arizona, and ultimately, Hollywood.
Throughout his career, Hanns was a fixture on the dinner theater circuits, eventually becoming the Executive Director of two dinner theaters in Arizona. His membership in the Arizona Stuntmen's Association further solidified his credentials as a performer.
In the mid-1970s, Hanns made the transition to Hollywood, where he appeared in a dozen films and television shows. He also gained recognition for his work in a one-man commercial that was nominated for a prestigious Clio award.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Hanns was a skilled musician and instrument builder. For nine years, he was the founder and director of the Doreshure Minstrels, an acoustic vocal group that performed historical music dating back to the 100th century.
Hanns's career in radio and television media spanned over three decades, culminating in his role as Executive Vice President of an international Christian radio ministry, which provided aid to the poor and oppressed. He retired from this position in 2013.
When he's not busy with his professional pursuits, Hanns can be found indulging in his passion for scuba diving. With over 50 years of experience, he has been fortunate enough to dive at some of the world's most renowned locations. In fact, he was able to explore the newly opened underwater archaeological site of King Herod's sunken harbor at Caesarea on the Mediterranean Sea during a fact-finding trip to Israel.
Presently, Hanns resides with his wife in Southern California, where he continues to be an active and accomplished individual.
