Hannah Mae, a talented individual from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, embarked on her dance training journey at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts School of Dance and the Leica Hardy School of Dance, ultimately joining Canada's National Ballet School in Toronto.
Throughout her career, Hannah Mae has been the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, including The Janice and Brian Flemming scholarship and the Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts through the Nova Scotia Talent Trust.
Her extensive repertoire includes dancing in various productions by Canada's Ballet Jörgen, such as Anastasia, Coppélia, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, and Cinderella, as well as creating the role of the Lilac Fairy in Jörgen's Sleeping Beauty.
In 2019, Hannah Mae had the privilege of originating the title role of Anne of Green Gables – The Ballet, a creation by Bengt Jörgen, C.M.
In addition to her performances, Hannah Mae has also shared her expertise by teaching classes for Canada's Ballet Jörgen, Mocean Dance Company, DAREarts, and numerous dance schools across Canada, the United States, and Brazil.
For the past decade, Hannah Mae has been a touring artist with CBJ, bringing dance to various corners of North America through outreach programs, masterclasses, and performances.
