Hanna Skarzanka, a celebrated Polish actress, embarked on her educational journey at the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Vilnius in 1937. Concurrently, she pursued studies at the conservatory, later transitioning to Polish studies. Her illustrious acting career commenced with the Teatr Maly in Vilnius from December 1940 to March 1941.
Skarzanka's impressive filmography features numerous movies and TV series, with her debut movie being the 1946 production "Dwie godziny," where she portrayed the role of Teresa. Beyond her cinematic endeavors, she remained active in theater, performing in various renowned theaters, including Teatr Ziemi Pomorskiej in Torun, Teatr im. S. Jaracza in Olsztyn, Teatr Polski in Poznan, and the Teatr "Ateneum" in Warsaw, where she delivered notable performances from 1960 to 1975.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Skarzanka also held the position of artistic director at the Museum of the Archdiocese of Warsaw in 1982.
