Hana Wu is a remarkable Asian American actor, born in Taiwan, who spent her formative years in San Jose, California. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a degree in Sociology, she went on to pursue advanced academic credentials by obtaining a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and securing a license in Marriage and Family Therapy. However, Hana's passion for acting eventually led her to abandon academia and dedicate herself to the craft.
Early in her career, she secured leading roles in various independent short films and web series, many of which have been showcased at esteemed film festivals, including the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, LA Shorts Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Louisville International Film Festival, and Independent Filmmakers Showcase.
In recent years, Hana has continued to make a name for herself in the industry by taking on diverse and challenging roles. Notably, she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival for her portrayal of Constance Du in the series "The Kids Table".
