Hal Reid

Hal Reid, a renowned writer and director, embarked on his life's journey on April 14, 1862, in the charming town of St. Omer, Indiana, USA. As a creative force in the entertainment industry, he left an indelible mark with his work on iconic films such as The Deerslayer (1913),Rip Van Winkle (1912),and Prohibition (1915). Throughout his life, Reid was blessed with the love and companionship of three remarkable women: Marcella Frances Russell, who would later become Mrs. Hal Reid, and Marylee (Mae) Withers.
