Ghulam Dustgir Khan, a renowned British comedian, impressionist, and actor, was born in 1986 in Coventry, England. Of Pakistani descent, Khan grew up in Coventry alongside his two older sisters.
After completing his education at Coventry University, Khan embarked on a career as a teacher. However, his true calling lay in the realm of comedy. In 2014, he began publishing YouTube videos, which eventually led to his first stand-up performance the following year.
Khan's big break came in 2015 when a video of him performing as his character Mobeen, feigning outrage at a scene from Jurassic World, went viral. This sudden surge in popularity prompted Khan to leave his teaching job and dedicate himself to his comedy career full-time.
In 2017, his comedy-drama series Man Like Mobeen premiered on BBC iPlayer, garnering widespread critical acclaim. Since then, Khan has appeared on various game shows, scripted programs, and films.
Notable appearances include Taskmaster, Would I Lie to You?, QI, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Our Flag Means Death, Army of Thieves, and The Bubble. Khan currently resides in the West Midlands with his wife and their four children.
