Guy is a multifaceted individual with a presence in the entertainment industry as an actor, screenwriter, producer, and teacher. He is renowned for his bold and courageous approach to his craft, which often results in powerful, emotionally charged performances on both stage and screen.
Guy grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where he attended Cocoa Beach High School and later graduated from Florida State University. He spent several years in Honolulu before relocating to New York City to pursue his acting career. Guy's acting training is extensive, having spent seven years studying with master teacher-director Gene Frankel in New York and two years with Catlin Adams in Los Angeles. He is also an alumnus of an invitation-only screenwriting class taught by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Bobby Moresco.
As an actor, Guy made his screen debut in the lead role of Hotel Sumatra, written and directed by Ariel Vromen. This performance caught the attention of Ariel, who subsequently cast Guy in two feature films, Rx and Danika. Guy has an impressive array of credits in film, television, and theater, showcasing his versatility and range as an actor.
In addition to his acting work, Guy has also taken on producing roles. He produced and starred as Harry in the LA premiere of Chinese Coffee by Ira Lewis, earning rave reviews from the Los Angeles Times and LA Weekly. The production was directed by the highly esteemed Jack Heller. As a producer, Guy has also worked on the critically acclaimed production of Jean Cocteau's The Human Voice at the Elephant Theater, starring Ho-Jung in a powerful performance. The play was directed by multiple award-winning director Dan Bonnell.
As a screenwriter, Guy is currently developing a feature-length screenplay that he wrote and will produce. He has recently completed his second feature-length screenplay in collaboration with writer-director Chris Cordone. Chris has also written a role for Guy in his directorial debut, Stevie D.
In addition to his work as an actor, screenwriter, and producer, Guy is also a sought-after teacher and coach. He teaches a weekly scene study-audition technique class called RAW Monday Nights out of his studio, RAW acting studio in Hollywood, and also coaches privately. His seminars and workshops are in high demand in the US and abroad. Guy is a proud member of the Writers Boot Camp and the MSA (Malibu Surfing Association). When his schedule permits, he enjoys competing in surf contests up and down the coast of California and is passionate about keeping the ocean clean and healthy.
