Guy, a classically trained actor, was born and raised in Surrey, England, where he attended Heathside School and Esher College. His theatrical journey began in the UK, working in touring and regional theatre, before expanding to the United States, where he has performed with prestigious companies such as the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and the San Jose Stage Company.
Guy's extensive film credits include festival selection features and short independent films, as well as a notable role in the Mexico International Film Festival's "Bronze Palm Award Winning" short film "Dissent" (2012). His performance earned him a nomination for "Best Actor" at The World Music and Independent Film Festival in DC.
After graduating from The Arts Educational Schools in 1995, Guy received the Lilian Bayliss Award. He first came to the United States as a director at Long Lake Camp for the performing arts in Upstate New York, where he fell in love with the area and became a US resident in 1999.
Guy has resided in various cities across the United States, including Rochester NY, Albuquerque, San Francisco, and currently Buffalo NY, where he continues to work as an actor in film, theatre, voice over, and commercials. He has consistently auditioned and booked work throughout his career, since his first professional audition at The Royal National Theatre.
In addition to his acting career, Guy is a professional tennis coach, published poet, and screenwriter. He also offers Reiki sessions. His son, Caton, is an animal scientist and plans to pursue a college education in the field. Guy is a member of British Actors Equity, EMC, SAG, and holds a green card.
